Last Friday evening was the Cornwall Photographic Alliance’s, Annual Competition hald at the Burrell Theatre in Truro School. About a third of our membership attended the event, many have been before but some where there for the first time.
Running through the digital images and prints sent in from 10-12 member clubs, PPG had several images scoring the maximum 15 points, along with a couple of 14s and a couple of 13s.
As the end the top three clubs for digital were read out in reverse order, Launceston, PPG and Truro, by two points. Then it was the prints, Launceston, Truro, PPG…… by six points!
Which meant PPG had won the competition by four points. The Colab Award was back in our hands for the first time since 2007. The Dr Ken Farnell Cup for the best print portfolio was also in our possession for the first time in 20 years, and was won with the highest score in recent years
