Latest Shenanigans at PPG

Coronavirus COVID-19

After the cancellation of our normal summer programme for 2020 and a quickly arranged replacement of online Zoom sessions that included TEN guest speakers and delayed AGM, Image of the Year competition and Programme Finale.

We have decided to hold our complete winter programme 2020-21 online using Zoom. We will return to the clubhouse when the current situation allows and membership agrees.

No prints this year.

IMAGE of the YEAR

Congratulations go to our two winners of our image of the year competition for 2018-19.

  • DIGITAL - "Surf's Up" by Ken Whalley ARPS
  • PRINT - "Fetch the Ball" by Sue Searle LRPS

Images were selected by our guest judge, Brian Galbraith CPAGB APAGB, who critiqued and scored all our images for our IotY presentation evening in April.

Membership 2019-20

Since we moved from Murley Hall to The Ludgvan Community Centre our membership has grown at a rapid rate. Our new venue with a warm clubhouse, a large car park with good lighting, access to fully equiped commerical kitchen and a bar upstairs with friendly staff has a lot to do with this success. Full disabled facilities.

However you must not forget the roll our membership plays in making PPG what it is. A great place to be on a Thursday evening if you are into photography.

Our members map shows the spread of our membership at the start of October 2019.
